Description This design-centric, dog-friendly hospitality group hosts guests at Hotel San Jose, Hotel Saint Cecilia, the Austin Motel (all on South Congress in Austin, TX), Hotel Havana, The Phoenix Hotel and Hotel San Cristobal Baja. They’re known for being community-centric, locally rooted, and in their own words, “proud to build business with soul.”
Why I’ve still never stayed at the St Cecilia. I suppose it’s harder to convince yourself to do a staycation in your hometown and still hard to convince yourself to stay in a hotel when you have friends offering you a bed, but it’s on my list to give this spot a try on my next visit to Austin. (If you need any convincing that this is THE place to stay while you’re in Austin, I recommend you follow Saint Cecila’s turquoise-filled IG immediately.)
What is more, coming in Fall 2020 DEN Property Group is opening Saint Cecilia Residences. These unique properties will be closely tied to the identity and amenities of the St Cecilia Hotel and feature sustainable, artful and locally rooted architecture by renowned Lake | Flato.
Also coming soon? Hotel Magdalena, replete with it’s own version of 80s wave cool. Stay a night or try a one night taste at their Summer House on Music Lane. Live far away? Build your wardrobe before you visit. I have to admit I’m a little obsessed with this uber lifestyle heavy hospitality approach. For free lazy river escapism, their IG is also excellent.
