What The stage name of Taja Cheek, a Brooklyn born and based artist, experimenting across instruments and personal change
Description L’Rain has a new album, Fatigue, which Pitchfork writer Eric Torres, describes as “painterly and methodical…marbled with personal recordings.” I don’t disagree.
Why Every once in a while, I decided to dip my toe in new music discovery. Remember when we used to use iTunes and had to carefully choose a handful of songs to shake up our tried and true shuffle mix? Don’t get me wrong: Spotify is great, but I missed the days of deep familiarity with tracks I had owned…I have only listened to L’Rain for a little bit but I think she seems interesting enough to keep trying.
