Why The space, service and food speak for themselves but as an added bonus Full Commission’s backstory is equally charming: Founder David Traxler, like many after college, made his way to LA to get a job, since opening a restaurant wasn’t the most feasible dream for a young 20- something.

He eventually landed in sales for start-ups and after 5 years in the space realized his dream of opening a restaurant remained, so rather than continuing to walk into another month unsure what his commission might be, he decided to go all in on a restaurant: “With the help and motivation of my wonderful wife to be, I quit my job and [threw] all of my savings (commissions) into my new venture of starting a bar and restaurant. Hence the name ‘Full Commission’.” Voyage ATL

Sometimes you have to go all in and say goodbye to the practical Plan B— thank goodness David did. Full Commission is fast becoming a neighborhood favorite.

Go for brunch and order the Northern Bowl or The Southern. Both were delicious, and double fist on the drink front if you can’t decide on a boozy or caffeinated option.
